Imagine. You create release or user story in TFS.
You are working with this work item and after each change you will receive alert on email.
You close the ticket, but you continue to receive the email alert.
What happened? Why tfs send this alert?
The problem is in task, which you related with check in.
How do you add task to user story or release ticket?
Pay attention!
If you added task as child, after each check-in the file, which was related with task, will be update his parent: release ticket or user story.
If you added task as predecessor, after each check will be updated only task!
